Superior, NE - The Recognition of Service Excellence (ROSE) Award was established to recognize and commend Brodstone Healthcare employees who demonstrate dedication, compassion, and a strong commitment to service excellence while fulfilling their responsibilities and furthering the mission of Brodstone Healthcare.

The ROSE Award was specifically designed for Brodstone employees who work outside of the hospital nursing setting and serves as a companion to The DAISY Award. Patients, their families and friends, and community members are all eligible to nominate candidates for this award.

Last week, Megan McMeen was announced as the second annual ROSE Award recipient for 2025. Megan has worked as a nurse at Brodstone Family Medical Center - Superior for over 30 years.

Megan received three nominations highlighting her exceptional care and dedication as a Family Practice RN at Brodstone and school nurse at Superior Public Schools. One nomination praised her calm and effective guidance during a daughter's high fever emergency, emphasizing her follow-up care and ability to connect with children. Another nomination highlighted her consistent "above and beyond" approach, noting her caring nature, knowledge, and willingness to assist patients even when busy, as well as her positive impact on students who adore her. The final nomination reiterated her deep care for each patient and her personable nature, recognizing her as a "top RN" who also volunteers her time for the school and the community.

“Megan McMeen embodies the spirit of a truly caring and devoted healthcare professional. Her dedication to the well-being of her patients, along with her deep enthusiasm for her work, sets a remarkable example," stated Treg Vyzourek, CEO of Brodstone Healthcare. "Megan’s outstanding clinical abilities are complemented by her thoughtful and understanding approach. She is an invaluable member of the Brodstone team, and we are delighted to honor her as a recipient of the ROSE Award."
