Brodstone Healthcare is deeply committed to supporting the communities we serve. We demonstrate this commitment through various initiatives, including donations, sponsorships, and community grilling events. Please note that to maintain our inclusive mission, we are unable to support politically affiliated initiatives, religious organizations, or benefits for individuals. If you have an event or cause that aligns with our community support guidelines, you can submit a request for a donation, sponsorship, or grilling event by filling out the form below.

  • Hundreds of requests are received each year. For that reason, we ask that you submit your request at least 4 weeks prior to your 'need to know by' date.
  • You will be notified via phone or email if your request has been approved or declined.

Schools

Superior Public Schools, K-12 is designated as a Nebraska Class C2 school and has an excellent academic reputation. A new elementary school was built in 2011 and attaches to the junior-senior high school. Students participate in many extra-curricular activities including FFA, FCCLA, Student Council, Key Club, Drama Club, football, cross country, volleyball, basketball, wrestling, track & field and boys and girls golf. Superior’s younger youth are also encouraged to participate in many events sponsored by the Superior Youth Activities Association (SYAA), Superior’s spring Track Club, winter basketball leagues, flag football, tee-ball, softball, baseball, Boys & Girls Scout Troops, and many more organized activities.

Recreation

Lovewell Lake State Park, seven miles south of Superior, is a great place for fishing, camping and just relaxing. Lake amenities include a marina, boat ramps, boat rentals, camping with electrical hook-ups, picnic shelters, playground, and cabins. Superior’s City Park has a playground, band shelter, picnic shelter, and a swimming pool with handicap facilities. The Nuckolls County Museum is also located near the park. The Lincoln Park, located on the west edge of town offers camping facilities, a horseshoe pitching area, sand volleyball courts, Frisbee golf, picnic shelters, and a children’s play equipment. The Crest Theatre shows first-run movies in its double theatres. Crest also offers a wide selection of movie rentals. The Superior Country Club has a beautiful, nine-hole, grass green, course. Cart rentals are available and golfers are invited to relax in the newly constructed Club House after a challenging round of golf. Other recreational activities in the area include: Golf Driving Range, Tennis Courts, Softball/Baseball Fields, Community Track, Wildlife/Hunting, Frisbee Golf, Skating Rink, Superior Estates Winery and Bowling Alley.

Business

Superior has a very active Chamber of Commerce. The Chamber is a great networking source for area businesses. The Chamber works collectively with the City of Superior and Superior’s Economic Development Council to promote growth and stability in the County.

Nuckolls County

Superior is located in Nuckolls County – a progressive rural, agricultural community. The County’s 4,300 residents take great pride in caring for their corner of the world. The county is comprised of the following communities: Nelson, Superior, Hardy, Lawrence and the unincorporated communities of Angus, Bostwick and Cadams. The county seat is located in Nelson.
