Danielle Jackson Receives Brodstone's Third Annual ROSE Award

Superior, NEThe Recognition of Service Excellence (ROSE) Award was established to recognize and commend Brodstone Healthcare employees who demonstrate dedication, compassion, and a strong commitment to service excellence while fulfilling their responsibilities and furthering the mission of Brodstone Healthcare.

The ROSE Award was specifically designed for Brodstone employees who work outside of the hospital nursing setting and serves as a companion to The DAISY Award. Patients, their families and friends, and community members are all eligible to nominate candidates for this award.

Last week, coinciding with healthcare week, Danielle Jackson was announced as the third annual ROSE Award recipient for 2026. Danielle works as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Brodstone Healthcare, where her exceptional bedside manner and attentive care have made a lasting impression on patients and their families.

Danielle received four nominations highlighting her profound empathy, cheerful attitude, and consistent "above and beyond" approach. One patient praised her frequent check-ins and willingness to help, noting that Danielle always took the time to listen and make their post-surgery stay as comfortable as possible. Another nomination commended her outstanding professionalism and kindness during a difficult and humbling medical situation, noting that Danielle handled a messy environment with a smile, preserving the patient's dignity when they felt most vulnerable.

A third, extensive nomination from a grateful family detailed the extraordinary bond Danielle formed with their mother during her time as a swing-bed patient. The family noted that Danielle felt more like a family member than a caretaker, highlighting her habit of never rushing her patients, popping in to check on them even when assigned to the ER, and even stopping by on her own time to help load the patient into a car for an out-of-town appointment. "Every patient needs a Dani," the family wrote, noting her contagious smile and uncanny ability to show up exactly when needed most. A final nomination echoed these sentiments, celebrating her cheerful disposition and dedication to meeting every patient need.
