SUPERIOR, NE – Brodstone Healthcare is proud to announce that Austin Farnstrom, Director of Pharmacy, has been selected as the organization’s recipient of the 2025 Nebraska Hospital Association (NHA) Caring Kind Award. This esteemed annual award pays tribute to outstanding health care employees who demonstrate exceptional compassion for patients, cooperation with coworkers, and dedication to excellence in their daily responsibilities.

Austin Farnstrom was celebrated as Brodstone Healthcare’s 2024 Employee of the Year, an internal honor that made him the ideal candidate for the NHA recognition. His nomination highlighted his strong work ethic, dedication to improving patient outcomes, and exemplary leadership skills.

The Caring Kind Award is a Nebraska healthcare tradition recognizing the state’s most dedicated health care workers. Farnstrom was formally recognized alongside other recipients from across the state at the NHA Annual Convention awards ceremony on October 24th.

In addition to being named Employee of the Year, Farnstrom was also recognized as the Employee of the 3rd Quarter for 2024.
