SUPERIOR, Neb. – Brodstone Healthcare announced today that Chief Executive Officer Treg Vyzourek will be resigning from his role in early October to pursue a new professional opportunity.
Vyzourek has served as CEO of Brodstone Healthcare since 2018, leading the organization through a period of significant growth, innovation, and recognition. During his tenure, Brodstone expanded access to healthcare services across the region, strengthened its financial position, enhanced quality and patient experience initiatives, and further established itself as a leader among Critical Access Hospitals. Under his leadership, Brodstone received national recognition for quality and performance while continuing to invest in providers, employees, facilities, and services that benefit the communities it serves.
"Serving as CEO of Brodstone Healthcare, has been one of the greatest privileges and honors of my career. I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to lead this remarkable organization and to work alongside such dedicated employees, providers, volunteers, and board members who share a commitment to delivering exceptional healthcare to those we serve," said Vyzourek.
"After much reflection and careful consideration, I have concluded that it is the right time for me to step away from this role and pursue the next chapter of my journey. While I am excited about this new opportunity, it does not lessen the sadness I feel in leaving an organization and communities that have meant so much to me and my family."
The Brodstone Healthcare Board of Directors will begin the process of identifying the organization's next Chief Executive Officer and will announce an interim CEO in the coming weeks to ensure a seamless leadership transition.
