SUPERIOR, NE – This past Saturday, March 28, Brodstone Community Wellness brought the community together for the Brodstone Health & Wellness Expo. Held at the Superior Auditorium from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., the event provided residents of all ages with access to vital health resources, interactive demonstrations, and family-friendly activities.
The Expo featured a wide array of stations designed to promote a proactive approach to personal health. Highlights of the event included:
- Health Screenings: Free blood pressure checks and skin cancer screenings provided by Brodstone Healthcare professionals.
- Safety: A fire safety trailer with live presentations, fire trucks and ambulance on display for public tours, basic life support (BLS) demonstrations, water testing & smoke alarm program information.
- Wellness & Nutrition: Mental Health support, free chair massages for attendees, community wellness offerings, dental health information.
- Family Fun: SYAA pancake fundraiser, a dedicated kids corner, car seat safety checks, and interactive and educational activities.
The event served as a central hub for local partners and healthcare providers to engage directly with the public, emphasizing the hospitals mission to provide exceptional and progressive healthcare to the region.
“We were thrilled to see such a great turnout from our community this weekend,” said Jacki Siebecker, Wellness Director at Brodstone Healthcare. “Our goal with the Expo is to empower individuals through education and prevention, and seeing so many families take an active interest in their well-being is exactly why we host these events. It’s about making health resources accessible and enjoyable for everyone.”
For those who missed this year's festivities, the Brodstone Health & Wellness Expo is now established as a recurring milestone for the region. To ensure the highest quality of programming and resources, the event will be hosted every 18 months. The community can look forward to the next Health & Wellness Expo in the fall of 2027.
