Superior, NE - The Brodstone Foundation hosted its third annual Brodstone Big Idea event on Friday, January 24th. Mirroring the concept of Shark Tank, Brodstone employees were invited to share their innovative ideas related to equipment, technology, or initiatives aimed at improving patient care at Brodstone Healthcare. Out of numerous submissions, 10 finalists had the chance to present their proposals to a panel of judges, which included members from the Brodstone Foundation Board of Directors. The Foundation committed over $13,000 to support the winning ideas, with Oakeson Steiner Wealth & Retirement contributing an additional $5,000. After deliberation, seven projects were selected for funding during the event. The top finalists and their proposals included:

  • Waiting Room Phone Chargers - Diane Tate
  • Play Therapy Room - Casey Zoltenko & Colleen Babcock
  • Foldable Ball Pit for Pediatric Rehab - Brenna Bolejack
  • BlazePods for Physical Therapy - Paige Hild
  • Floor Scrubber - Kassi Amani
  • Handheld Bladder Scanner - Sharon Bowers
  • Birthing Simulator - Courtney Warren & Kristi Wehrman
